Adventurous Volunteers Required for East Timor Swim Program
From Darwin it is a 1 hour flight to East Timor, a beautiful developing country with many options for rest and relaxation. Why not have a holiday and make a difference!
Academy of Swimming Education East Timor Inc is providing learn to swim classes and survival skills including CPR for orphanage kids in Dili. These are self funded positions.
We operate in closed and open water environments for the kids to learn and we need more AUSTSWIM Licensed Teachers™ to help us. The children range in age from 4years- 21 years and are very excited to be involved in the programs. You will feel the appreciation from children that have been orphaned and are deeply moved that we are giving them the opportunity to learn to swim and survive in the water.
8 day program
5 days teaching (open water) 3 days exploring Timor Leste hinterland and Artauro Island (recently rated No 1 in the world for diving and experiencing biodiversity Arturo Island).
Homestay option: Dili Accommodation only
$55 per person per day (includes all meals, snacks, soft drinks
Accommodation in lovely Portuguese style house behind the US Embassy in Dili the capital city 200m from the beach, shops, market and restaurants.
