Are you a Victorian public school teacher looking to expand your teaching skills?
Why not add ‘swim teacher’ to your skill set for free through the Victorian Department of Education’s Water Safety in Schools Initiative which is providing fully funded Swim Teacher training from December to March to help eligible Victorian Government schools strengthen their swimming and water safety programs.
The Queensland Department of Education proudly approves AUSTSWIM to deliver the Government Subsidised training and assessment to eligible participants for an Australian Nationally Accredited Skill Set (SISSS00132) Swimming and Water Safety Teacher under the VET program Career Boost for General Training Pathway.
Active Queenslanders Industry Alliance (AQIA) in partnership with AUSTSWIM, SWIM Coaches & Teachers Australia, and Royal Life Saving Society Queensland to deliver Queensland's Growing Workforce Participation Fund.
The goal is to place 150 job seekers into entry-level aquatic courses and to support 75 current aquatic professionals across Queensland to undertake advanced training and extension programs. The funding is administered by the Department of Trade, Employment and Training (DTET).
