What is a licence transfer?
A licence transfer allows your qualifications, experience and professional standing to be formally recognised within the AUSTSWIM licensing framework. This helps ensure consistent professional standards across Australia and supports safe, high-quality aquatic education.
What is required for a licence transfer?

A Statement of Attainment (SoA) of your current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (TSW) qualification and your TSW licence

Evidence of recent teaching experience - 20 hours

Evidence of professional development - 10 hours

Current CPR and WWCC

On acceptance - completion of the AUSTSWIM Licence Learning module
