Am I eligible?

To be eligible for the Higher Level Skills Program a participant must:

permanently reside in Queensland.
be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent resident, temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand Citizen.
be aged 16 years or over, and no longer at school.
not hold a certificate IV or higher qualification, not including qualifications completed at school.
not be enrolled in another qualification, not including foundation skills training.

How much will it cost?

Concessional Candidate: $112.50 Total Co-contribution Fee / $22.50 per Unit Co-contribution Fee 9 (5 units)
Non-Concessional Candidate: $162.50 Total Co-contribution Fee / $32.50 per Unit Co-contribution Fee (5 units)

What is the Higher Level Skills Program?

Funding is available for the Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety skill set (SISSS00132) through the Queensland Government's Higher Level Skills Program.
