AUSTSWIM Training Courses

The AUSTSWIM Teacher Licence™ is the industry standard for swimming and water safety teachers™. AUSTSWIM courses are delivered and recognised in each state and territory of Australia and many countries overseas.

In a world first, AUSTSWIM has been accredited against ISO/IEC 17024 for how we train, accredit and licence AUSTSWIM Teachers in Australia. This gives the community further assurance that AUSTSWIM Teachers have the highest accreditation benchmark in aquatics and that AUSTSWIM to committed to providing quality education to reduce drowning, the impact of aquatic accidents and strive for safer swimming and water safety.

AUSTSWIM is also a Registered Training Organisation (TOID: 104975) and regulated by the Australian Skills and Qualifications Authority. An AUSTSWIM course may contain units of competency which are nationally recognised.

In order to become an AUSTSWIM Licensed Teacher™, you will need to complete the Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety™ accreditation. This is the base accreditation that you must gain before you can attempt any of the extension courses.
