You may be suited to becoming an AUSTSWIM Trainer if you: 

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent (or be working towards completion)
  • Hold a current AUSTSWIM TSW Licence (Swim Teacher Trainers)
  • Hold most recent aqua exercise instructor qualification (Aqua Trainers)
  • Have substantial experience as a swim teacher and/or aqua exercise instructor
  • Demonstrate strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Are passionate about mentoring and developing others
  • Value consistency, safety and high standards in education

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is a nationally recognised qualification required to deliver accredited training in Australia. 

Trainer eligibility requirements vary depending on the course type and delivery context.
