Employment

BECOME A PRESENTER

Becoming an AUSTSWIM Presenter of Teacher and Water Safety is a rewarding way to teach the next generation of instructors to make a positive change to people’s water safety skills and help prevent drownings in Australia.

An AUSTSWIM presenter is a key part of the AUSTSWIM team, helping turn new candidates into fully trained Teachers of Swimming and Water Safety, who are ready to make their community a safer place for swimmers. As an AUSTSWIM Presenter, your skills, knowledge and expertise are essential to the delivery of our AUSTSWIM Swim Teacher Courses. If you would like to inspire the next generation of teachers to enter a highly rewarding career, this role is for you.

If you are interested in becoming an AUSTSWIM presenter, register your details here to be kept up to date about future opportunities. Learn more about becoming a presenter or contact AUSTSWIM at info@austswim.com.au or on 1300 885 666.

BECOME AN ASSESSOR

The AUSTSWIM Assessor module has been specifically designed to guide teachers through all aspects of the AUSTSWIM assessor role. AUSTSWIM assessors judge the teaching competency of candidates after they have gained an appropriate amount of experience under the supervision of their training supervisor/s.

In order for AUSTSWIM Teachers to be eligible to assess a trainee teacher’s competency, they are required to undertake and complete an online module.

The online module is free of charge and gives AUSTSWIM Teachers an automatic two hours of professional development towards their teacher licence renewal (minimum requirements apply).

AUSTSWIM is highly appreciative of the enormous contribution of our assessors, who volunteer their time to assist candidates through to completion of their licence.
