AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (TSW) SISSS00132 - Bridge the Gap
This course is designed for teachers who already hold a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety accreditation inclusive of a Statement of Attainment for SISSS0112 (issued after 2015) and who wish to upskill to the new Swimming and Water Safety Teacher skillset, SISSS00132, released in December 2023.

Teachers will receive a Statement of Attainment for SISSS00132.
The course includes the pre-requisite units of competency required for the following courses:
- Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics
- Teacher of Aquatics – Access and Inclusion
PREREQUISITE
Teachers must hold and provide evidence of their Statement of Attainment listing the SISSSS0012 skillset.
DELIVERY STRATEGY
There is no face-to-face component with this course.
Bridge the Gap is an online course with eLearning modules and assessment tasks. Teachers must download a Bridge the Gap Candidate Handbook to be completed in industry.
Teachers have 12 months from enrolment to complete all course requirements.
