AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (TSW) SISSS00132 - Bridge the Gap
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
✅ Eligible:
This course is designed for teachers who currently hold a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety accreditation including a Statement of Attainment for SISSS00112 (issued after 2015) and who wish to upskill to the new Swimming and Water Safety Teacher skillset, SISSS00132, released in December 2023.
❌ Not Eligible:
PREREQUISITE
Teachers MUST hold and provide evidence of their Statement of Attainment listing the SISSS00112 skillset issued after 2015.

There is no face-to-face component with this course.
Bridge the Gap is an online course with eLearning modules and assessment tasks. Teachers must download a Bridge the Gap Candidate Handbook to be completed in industry.
Teachers have 12 months from enrolment to complete all course requirements.

You receive 6 PD hours which can be used towards the 10 required for a licence renewal.
Teachers must hold and provide evidence of their Statement of Attainment listing the SISSSS0012 skillset.
