ALLOCATIONS EXHAUSTED FOR 2023/2024

Did you know that 1 in 6 Australians are currently living with disability or medical condition of some type?

There are few environments that offer the chance for participation in the same way the aquatic environment does. Aquatic recreation is something that most Australians take for granted. Unfortunately, not all Australians have the same opportunities to benefit from the water.

AUSTSWIM, in partnership with the Commonwealth Government - Department of Social Services, is building the capacity of the aquatic industry and the community so that everyone can take advantage of the benefits of the water.

The ‘Removing Barriers’ program is designed to help those who are most vulnerable in our community and gives them the opportunity to access safer, supervised aquatic activities.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY

As we celebrate and acknowledge International Day of People with Disability on December 3, we extend a warm invitation to join us on the weekend of December 2 and 3, 2023, we have an exciting opportunity for teachers in Queensland (QLD) and Victoria (VIC).

We aim to create a wave of change in aquatic facilities across Australia by training and upskilling as many teachers in the AUSTSWIM Access and Inclusion course as possible!
With over 100 FREE available places, this event is set to become one of the most significant highlights of the 2023 calendar.

We are also offering FREE courses throughout December in SA, NSW and WA. Check out the course calendar for details.
