Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes (International)
Course Overview
The AUSTSWIM Towards Competitive Strokes course is developed to help AUSTSWIM Teachers develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of the higher levels in learn-to-swim programs. The course aims to provide candidates with a better understanding of how to deliver longer sessions as well as how to develop strokes so they become more and more efficient in the water. The AUSTSWIM TCS is a pre-requisite course to enter the Swimming Australia coaching pathway and is a link between the two organisations.
The AUSTSWIM Towards Competitive Strokes course is extremely valuable for the teacher of the more advanced swimmers, as it provides a basis to enable all swimmers to achieve good swimming technique. This course helps teachers to develop their knowledge and expertise in each of the essential disciplines of competitive swimming.
